Shane and I got to see Kristine W in concert at Penn Valley Park for the 2009 Kansas City Gay Pride Festival. She was awesome as always!!!

St. Patricks Day 2009

My first St. Patrick's Day in Kansas City! Shane and I met Liz and Laura and we all drove downtown to Westport to watch the big parade. I remember listening to the newly released Kelly Clarkson CD - All I Ever Wanted on the way there. Little did I know, we watched the parade just several blocks away from where I would get my first job after moving here, Precision Optics right there on Broadway. We shall always remember the famous "Potato Lady" from the parade.
